Iurvida Ghee

Iurvida Ghee is made exactly as it was described in ancient texts. The non-homogeneous cream is made into "Dahi" or yogurt (Cultured Cream), which is then whipped into yellow butter before being cooked on fire to make golden yellow “Desi” Ghee.

Iurvida Ghee was created after first-generation immigrants became parents and struggled to locate real, high-quality local ghee for their firstborn. Widespread and inexpensive imported ghee was available, but there was uncertainty about its genuineness and there was always fear of adulteration.

Melting store bought butter to make ghee is similar to drinking grape juice instead of red wine!
